McDonald’s fans have been left furious after the fast food chain made a change to McFlurry ice creams. McDonald's is coming under fire after ditching plastic straws and spoons for paper alternatives.
The eco-friendly move from the fast food chain has gone down like a lead balloon among some customers. Jay fumed: "As if disintegrating straws wasn't bad enough, my spoon now becomes floppy after 5 minutes of McFlurry usage with the new McDonalds paper spoon."
"Love a Maccy D’s but the nasty paper straws with the milkshakes and the even worse horrible paper tasting spoons in the McFlurry’s is a step too far!" Mrs A agreed. Chris raged: "Same with Burger King paper straws for milkshakes! Or the wooden spoons for McFlurry's! The wooden spoon feels weird in my mouth and the paper straw is stupid! They should either be a option or there should be smth else!"
